What are structured snippets?
Structured snippets are assets that show a list of features of your offer under a fixed header with your Google Ads ad. You pick a header type, such as Brands or Types, and add values. They are not clickable. In Dutch they are called gestructureerde fragmenten.
Why are structured snippets important?
- Overview at a glance: people see right away what you offer.
- Fits a wide offer: handy when you have many brands, types or courses.
- Complement to headlines: you do not have to squeeze lists into your headlines.
Examples of structured snippets
- A sporting goods store: header type Types with “Running Shoes”, “Hiking Boots” and “Football Boots”.
- An installer: header type Types with “Boilers”, “Heat Pumps” and “Air Conditioners”.
- A training provider: header type Courses with “Excel”, “Bookkeeping” and “Project Management”.
How do you use structured snippets?
Pick the header type that fits your offer and add at least three short, factual values without promotional wording. Use the values that belong to that part of your offer in each campaign. Set them up alongside your other assets within Google Ads campaigns.
